Delete your account and data

Applies to Movvinchat (Android) by Movvin

You can ask for your Movvinchat account and the data tied to it to be deleted at any time. Deletion is completed within 30–40 days of the request. Until it completes you can cancel by contacting us; afterwards it can't be undone.

From inside the app

1. Open Movvinchat and go to the Account tab.
2. Tap Privacy & Security, then Account deletion.
3. Choose a reason, tell us a little more, and tap Request Account Deletion. You'll see the date and time your request was recorded.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app installed, email support@movvin.space from the email address on your account, or include the phone number you signed up with, and say "Delete my account". We may ask you to confirm ownership before we proceed.

What is deleted

• Your profile: username, phone number / Google email, profile photo, business name, radar identity.
• Messages, media, voice notes and status posts you sent, and tools you created (checklists, polls, invitations, forms and their responses, whiteboards, games, broadcast lists, scheduled messages).
• Your location data, connected-device sessions, push tokens and blocked/muted lists.

What may be kept

• Messages other people sent to you remain in their chats — they belong to them.
• Content you shared into a group or a shared tool that others still use may remain, attributed to "Deleted user".
• Records we're required to keep by law, or that are needed to resolve an open dispute or abuse report, for as long as that requirement lasts.

Deleting only some data

You don't have to delete your whole account to remove things:

• Messages: select them in a chat → Delete → "for me" or "for everyone".
• Status: open your own status and delete it; all statuses expire after 24 hours anyway.
• Devices: Privacy & Security → Connected Devices → sign out any device.
• Location: switch Radar off; stop any live location share from its card.
• Forms and tools you created: delete them from My Forms (with or without their responses) or from the chat.
