Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Movvin ("we", "us") for the Movvinchat Android app, the web companion at movvin.space, and the services behind them (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age to use such services where you live).
• You sign in with a phone number or Google account. Keep your device secure — anything done from a signed-in device is treated as done by you. You can sign out other devices from Privacy & Security → Connected Devices.
• Your username and profile photo are visible to people you message. A business name, if you set one, is shown as a Business tag.
• One person, one account. Don't impersonate anyone.

2. Acceptable use

Use the Service to talk with people who want to hear from you. You may not:

• send spam, scams, or unsolicited bulk messages (broadcast lists are for people who know you, not for cold outreach);
• harass, threaten or abuse anyone, or share content that is illegal, sexually exploitative, hateful, or violent;
• share other people's private information without consent, including screenshots of private conversations for harassment;
• use Radar or location sharing to stalk, track or locate someone against their will;
• upload malware, attempt to access other accounts or our systems, scrape the Service, or interfere with its operation;
• use the Service in a way that breaks any law that applies to you.

Anyone can block or report a user or group from inside the app; we review reports and may act without notice.

3. Your content

• What you send stays yours. You give us only the permission needed to store, transmit and display it to the people you chose, on the devices you use, for as long as it exists on the Service.
• You are responsible for what you send and for having the right to send it.
• "Delete for everyone" removes a message for all recipients, but people may already have seen, screenshotted or saved it. Disappearing messages are removed after 48 hours from the Service; we can't control copies made outside it.
• Status posts are visible to your chosen audience for 24 hours.

4. Shared tools

Checklists, polls, invitations, forms, whiteboards, games, bill splits and similar tools are shared objects: everyone who receives one interacts with the same copy, and their actions (ticks, votes, drawings, moves, responses) are visible to the others who have it. Forwarding or broadcasting a tool extends that group. The creator of a form controls who can share it and who can see its responses; a bill split is a request between people, not a payment — Movvin does not move money.

5. Ads and the free service

The Service is free and supported by advertising shown in the Explore tab and occasionally inside chats, marked "Sponsored" or "Ad". Ads may be served by Google AdMob or be our own promotional cards, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may change, limit or discontinue features, including ads, at any time.

6. Suspension and termination

• You can stop using the Service any time and request account deletion in the app (Account → Privacy & Security → Account deletion) or via this page.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms, create risk for other users, or are required to be removed by law. Where reasonable we'll tell you why.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it reliable, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that messages, calls, locations or tool data will always be delivered or preserved. Weather, place and map information comes from third-party sources and may be inaccurate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Movvin is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from content sent by other users; our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the past 12 months (which, for a free service, is zero).

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. The date at the top shows the current version; material changes are announced in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be handled by the courts of the place where Movvin is established, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections in your country.
